എന്തൊരു നല്ല മോനാ ഇവന്. ക്രിസ്ത്യന് സ്ത്രീകള് സ്വയം തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നതാണ് കന്യാസ്ത്രീ ആകാന്...അപ്പൊ അച്ഛനമ്മമാര് നേര്ച്ച നേര്ന്നു പള്ളീലച്ചനും കന്യാസ്ത്രീയുമൊക്കെ ആകുന്നതോ മോനെ? കന്യസ്ത്രീക്കും പള്ളീലച്ചനും ഉള്ളത് പോലെ മുസ്ലിം സ്ത്രീകള്ക്കും അവരുടെ ശരീരം എങ്ങിനെ അന്യന്റെ മുന്നില് മറച്ചിരിക്കണമെന്ന നിയമമുണ്ട്. അത് പര്ദ്ദയോ ചൂരിദാറും ഹിജാബുമോ എന്തുമാവാം.
സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തെ പറ്റി നാഴികക്ക് നാല്പ്പതു വട്ടം പുലമ്പുന്നവര് മനുഷ്യന്റെ biological requirement ആയ ലൈംഗിക ജീവിതം ഈ പറയുന്ന കന്യാസ്ത്രീകള്ക്കും അച്ചന്മാര്ക്കും നിഷേധിക്കുന്നതിനെ കുറിച്ച് എന്ത് പറയുന്നു? പര്ദ്ദയിട്ട് നടക്കുന്ന മുസ്ലിംകള്ക്ക് കല്യാണമൊക്കെ കഴിക്കാം, കുട്ടികളെ പ്രസവിക്കാം, സാധാരണ മനുഷ്യ സ്ത്രീ ജീവിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ ജീവിക്കാം. (അല്ലാതെ പള്ളീലച്ചനെ രാത്രി ക്ഷണിച്ചു വരുത്തേണ്ട ആവശ്യമൊന്നും ഇല്ല).
എന്തെങ്കിലും വേണ്ടാതീനം വിളമ്പി അതും ഇതും പറയിപ്പിക്കല്ലേ.

The problem is not in 'what' they do but 'why' they do. Because the Muslim people are doing their practices mainly because of their religion requests to do that. For example in Christian religion no one will compel a girl to become a Nun, it is her own decision and she can understand what will be the dressing for a Nun. But in Muslim if she is a women she must wear the dress proposed by the religion. In this, she has no choice and it is not her mistake that she is a girl !
If Christian religion announce that no restriction for the dressing of Nun, no nun will change their dressing. But if it happens in Muslim religion.... What do think???
